This one is BIG, and aptly known as “The King of Air Plants”.
Tillandsia, or “air plants” are not hard to keep, but do require specific care.
General care instructions: Bright, indirect light is needed. These plants are epithetic and should never be planted in soil. They require soaking once weekly for about an hour. Shake off throughly. Don’t allow water to sit on leaves or in crevices of the plant, or rotting could occur. In a vivarium, misting is likely sufficient, with good ventilation required. Water used on Tillandsia should be rainwater, distilled or RO water. Tap water contains sodium that could kill these plants. For more specific care, please do a search for your specific Tillandsia, as there is some variation in care.
