Also known as the Fiddleleaf or Horsehead Philodendron, this is a larger growing plant that requires support or staking to support it’s large glossy leaves. It is native to the rainforests of Bolivia, Paraguay, Argentina and southern Brazil. It is a classified as an aroid and a hemiphyte, meaning that it grows in soil, but climbs trees with the assistance of aerial roots. It likes low to moderate light levels and moist, humus-rich soil.
