This is also known as the King Anthurium. It is native to Columbia and is famous for it’s pendulous rippled leaves that grow quite large in the wild.  It gets it’s name from John Veitch, a London plant collector, that introduced it and many other plants to Europe.
This plant should be grown in a chunky mix to allow aeration for root development. Bright, indirect or filtered light is best. Likes to be moist. Keep temps between 60 and 80 degrees and keep away from drafts. Humidity levels of at least 60%.

Established starter plant in a 4 inch pot.
